Domaine Didier Fornerol Hautes-Cotes De Nuits Rouge 2017

Didier Fornerol was the former vineyard & cellar manager at Domaine de l’Arlot. He left to take over his family’s estate in 1999 and now works six hectares of vines across various appellations, emphasizing whole cluster fermentations and precision in the cellar. The Hautes-Côtes Rogue is elegant and refined, showing flavors of silky red fruit, wet earth, and flinty stones. Serve slightly chilled with poultry, lentils, and mushroom dishes.

Pinot Noir

Eloquent dynamic charmer of wine drinkers. Thin-skinned early-ripening seducer of wine growers. Planted everywhere but great in only a few (cool-climate) spots including its homeland of Burgundy.

Burgundy, France

The most revered, fetishized wine region on earth and the spiritual home of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Reaching from Chablis down to Beaujolais, it sits on a limestone outcropping in central France.
