Bacchus Pinot Noir 'Ginger's Cuvee' California 2017

Founded by David Gordon, wine director at New York’s Tribeca Grill, Bacchus’ mission is to offer high-quality wines from California at a seriously affordable price. Named after his daughter, ‘Ginger’s Cuvée’ is aromatic and fruit-forward, showing notes of red candy, cedar, and wet earth. Lifted and bright, the wine’s zesty acidity pairs perfectly with roasted poultry, fatty fish, and a variety of mushroom-based dishes.

Wine Type

Pinot Noir

Eloquent dynamic charmer of wine drinkers. Thin-skinned early-ripening seducer of wine growers. Planted everywhere but great in only a few (cool-climate) spots including its homeland of Burgundy.

The sun in the American wine solar system, but at the same time a wine 'nation' in its own right, California is like the popular kid in high school that was good at everything and good-looking, too.
