Sous-Marine Rose 'La Seiche Rose' Santa Barbara County 2018

A Verve Wine exclusive! Fruit for this thirst-quenching, Grenache-based wine comes from Camp 4 vineyard in the Santa Ynez Valley, where warmer climates and clay-loam soils help produce ripe, healthy clusters. Fermentation begins naturally and vinification/aging are done in old barrels. The final wine is fruit-forward and bright, showing flavors of juicy raspberry, cherry, and cranberry, marked by zesty acidity and a long, lingering finish.

Grenache

Ubiquitous red grown all over France; Spain (Garnacha); Italy (Cannonau) and the New World. Pale in color but otherwise a hardy richly fruity colossus in blends and varietal wines alike.

The ultimate in sunny, borderline tropical Southern California, yet influenced enough by Pacific Ocean fogs to provide cool-enough conditions for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, its twin wine beacons.
