Hirsch Pinot Noir 'San Andreas Fault' Sonoma Coast 2016

Deemed a pioneer of the ‘True’ Sonoma Coast, David Hirsch planted his first vineyard in 1980, finally establishing an on-site winery in 2002. Site typicity & complexity are key, creating Pinot based wines full of natural acidity and integrated tannins. Each block for ‘San Andreas Fault’ is vinified separately, giving way to a complex and energetic wine, showing notes of strawberry, earth, and wild herbs, giving way to a crisp, satisfying finish.

Pinot Noir

Eloquent dynamic charmer of wine drinkers. Thin-skinned early-ripening seducer of wine growers. Planted everywhere but great in only a few (cool-climate) spots including its homeland of Burgundy.
