Caprili Rosso di Montalcino 2017

Located in the southwest corner of Montalcino, Caprili has been crafting wines from their 21 hectares since 1965, with the estate now headed by Giacomo Bartolommei. Sandier soils give way to bright, aromatic wines, produced in a traditional yet natural style. The 2017 Rosso is vinified in both steel and oak, giving way to a medium-bodied, cherry fruited wine, noted with flavors of flowers and earthy mushroom. Delicious with red meats and pizza!

Sangiovese

Italy’s most-planted red and one of its noblest: a Tuscan icon (Chianti Classico; Brunello) that wanders through many regions. Crisp cherry-scented with a woodsy savor; Italy’s answer to Pinot Noir.
