Pierre Cotton Brouilly 2017

Former motorcycle mechanic turned vigneron, Pierre Cotton’s holdings now cover 5 hectares across some of Beaujolais’ most prestigious growing sites. Fruit for ‘Brouilly’ comes from organically farmed 65-year old vines rooted in pink granite, aged eight months in used oak. The final wine is refreshing and red-fruited, noted with flavors of wet stones and earth; perfect with pizza, pasta, and burgers!

The purplish grapey red of Beaujolais lately taken more seriously as a wine that punches above its weight. Perfectly fruity and yet in certain villages imbued with a stony mineral core.
