Chateau Haut-Bailly Pessac-Leognan 'La Parde' 2015

Chateau Haut-Bailly is now owned by Robert G. Wilmers, comprised of 28 hectares of high-altitude vines, rooted in gravel soils. Located in Pessac-Leognan, the wines are known for their smooth, velvety texture, noted with approachable grip and concentration. ‘La Parde’ shows notes of dark, juicy fruit, licorice, and flowers, with slight menthol and herbal notes; bright, focused, and ready to drink in 2-3 years.

Deliciously zaftig Bordeaux grape that shed its second-banana-to-Cabernet Sauvignon status to become a star in its own right. Early-ripening softly textured yet often very serious (see: POMEROL).

Bordeaux, France

France's Gironde River estuary and its most prolific wine zone. Aristocratic reds from 'the Cabernets' and Merlot are complemented by a smaller number of whites both dry and sweet (Sauternes).
