Chacra Chardonnay 'Mainque' Patagonia 2017

Founded in 2004 by Piero Incisa, Chacra’s mission is to express the unique microclimates of Rio Negro using organic farming and biodynamic principles to create clean, pure wines. Their ‘Mainque’ Chardonnay is rich and round, balanced by bright acidity. Aging is done in ex-Roulot barrels; the final wine shows notes of stone fruit and minerals, with a saline-driven acidity and long finish. Perfect for Burgundy lovers looking for something new!

Patagonia, Argentina

Like Mendoza, this super-remote Argentine wine zone is a high desert, just not as high as Mendoza. Windy and cool, it produces Pinot Noir (along with Malbec) of great balance and energy.
