Cerbaia Rosso di Montalcino 2016

Cerbaia’s 4.85 hectares of vines sit in the heart of Montalcino, most of which were planted in the 1970s. Today, vineyards are farmed chemical free and yields are kept low. The 2016 Rosso di Montalcino is lifted and bright, sourced from high elevation growing sites. Notes of juicy red berries and rustic earthiness dominate, giving way to an easy-drinking, food-friendly bottle. Drink now with chicken parmigiana or meat ragu!

Wine Type

Italy’s most-planted red and one of its noblest: a Tuscan icon (Chianti Classico; Brunello) that wanders through many regions. Crisp cherry-scented with a woodsy savor; Italy’s answer to Pinot Noir.
