Domaine Bachelet Bourgogne Rouge 2015

At Domaine Bachelet, the ‘finesse before everything’ motto stands behind every cuvée. Their four small hectares of vines are located in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin, giving way to powerful yet precise wines. Yields are low, juice spontaneously ferments, and wines age in 30-50% new oak. The 2015 ‘Bourgogne Rouge’ is medium-bodied and bright, oozing with red berry flavors and soft tannins. Clean & refreshing; delicious with roasted veggies.

Wine Type

Pinot Noir

Eloquent dynamic charmer of wine drinkers. Thin-skinned early-ripening seducer of wine growers. Planted everywhere but great in only a few (cool-climate) spots including its homeland of Burgundy.

The most revered, fetishized wine region on earth and the spiritual home of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Reaching from Chablis down to Beaujolais, it sits on a limestone outcropping in central France.
