Jean Foillard Fleurie 2015

Legendary Beaujolais-based pioneer of the natural wine movement, Jean Foillard’s fourteen hectares are farmed with a ‘non-interventionist’ mentality, allowing the wines to develop as naturally as possible. His 2015 ‘Fleurie’ is medium-bodied and fresh, with aromatic nuances of flowers and red berries. Juicy with herbal notes and striking minerality; a pleasure to drink.

Wine Type

The purplish grapey red of Beaujolais lately taken more seriously as a wine that punches above its weight. Perfectly fruity and yet in certain villages imbued with a stony mineral core.
