One of the leading producers in Chambolle, Ghislaine Barthod has been making wine in the renowned appellation for over three decades, crafting bottles of harmony and strength. Fruit is cold soaked and barrel matured, bottle approximately 1.5 years later. The 2008 ‘Les Cras’ exudes aromas of earthy red fruit, with a linear palate full of bright cherry and minerality; structured and age-worthy.
