Colgin Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon 'Tychson Hill' Napa Valley 2014
Ann Colgin’s cult Cabernets are a gorgeous addition to any Napa aficionado’s cellar. 2014 fruit shows layered complexity, with a dark, inky blue flavor in the glass. Out of the four wines produced in this ‘series,’ Tychson Hill is the least intense, yet still shows some hard-hitting power. Drink in a few years, through 2035.
Loamy-soiled, north-south valley reaching from the hot springs of Calistoga to the San Francisco Bay. It’s home to world-beating Cabernet Sauvignon, among other wines, and the American answer to Bordeaux.
