Founded by Naoko and Gustav Dalla Valle in 1982, this namesake estate produces Napa Valley wines from terraced vineyards in Oakville, characterized by marine influences, volcanic soils, and steep slopes. The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is ultra smooth, dominated by spicy dark fruit and notes of chocolatey smoke. Big volume and soft tannins make the wine perfect with robust meat dishes and bold stews.
