Bernard Moreau Puligny-Montrachet 2015

Dating back to 1809, the Moreau family has been pioneering pure, opulent wines across the Cote d’Or for over two centuries. With 14 hectares to the family name, Bernard’s sons Alex and Benoit have had control over the vineyards since 1999, continuing to support the estate’s ‘hands off’ mentality, while building the family’s unmatchable reputation. Their 2015 Puligny-Montrachet is aged in partially new French oak, grown in balanced soils that give way to low yields. Round and mineral-driven, with a distinct sense of place.

From soccer moms to sommeliers, Chardonnay's tooth-chattering acidity and lush tropicality manage to suit all types of drinkers and styles under its inimitably big tent. The white of Burgundy.
