Former motorcycle mechanic turned vigneron, Pierre Cotton’s holdings now cover 5 hectares across some of Beaujolais’ most prestigious growing sites. Fruit for ‘Le Pre’ grows in sandy, granitic soils at the foot of steep slopes, aged in foudre for six months. Only 4K bottles produced annually; organically farmed, vinified semi-carbonically, and produced sans soufre.
