Minimus Proprietary Red '#23' Oregon 2016

New World fruit meets Old World elegance with this proprietary red blend from Oregon. Comprised of 50% Trousseau, native to France’s Jura region, rounded out with equal parts Pinot Noir and Gamay, the wine is extremely fruit-forward and fresh, oozing with floral-tinged aromatics and approachable tannic structure. Serve slightly chilled with cheese and charcuterie, or simply on its own as a fun aperitif.
Not available in New York. Check stock in San Francisco

Another red-skinned native of France’s Jura this one a little darker and more sauvage than the featherweight Poulsard. Check out the woodsy reds of the Arbois appellation in particular.

Just southwest of Portland is some of the world's greatest Pinot Noir, planted in sedimentary soils left by the Missoula Floods, cooled by Pacific air sneaking through gaps in the Cascades.
