Henri Bonneau 'Les Rouliers' NV (1.5L)

Made from a vineyard worked by his son in the Gard ( west of Chateauneuf on the western side of the Rhone River) and so sometimes contains declassified Chateauneuf from his own vineyards. Has all the hallmareks of a great Chateauneuf with astonishing freshness, depth and complexity with a floral spice lift that belies its age.

Ubiquitous red grown all over France; Spain (Garnacha); Italy (Cannonau) and the New World. Pale in color but otherwise a hardy richly fruity colossus in blends and varietal wines alike.

Rhone Valley, France

Originating in the Swiss Alps and emptying into the Mediterranean, the Rhône sculpted some of France's most fabled terroirs, from Condrieu and Côte Rôtie up north to Châteauneuf-du-Pape down south.
