Founded in 1967, Montevertine sits in the heart of Chianti Classico, soaring at elevations of 425 meters. Comprised of 18 hectares, divided into 9 parcels, most of which are dedicated to Sangiovese. Fermented 25 days in cement, moved by gravity, and unfiltered. The 2009 is classic and structured, with sweet red fruit flavors and a long-lasting finish. Perfect with pizza night or pasta with red sauce.
