Known for powerhouse Nebbiolo, single-vineyard bottlings, and pioneering of the Arneis grape variety, Vietti has been a staple in Piedmont since the 19th century. ‘Villero’ is a 0.9 hectare vineyard with southwest facing exposure, located in Castiglione Falletto. Vines average 37 years in age, giving concentrated, aromatic fruit. The 2004 vintage shows aromas of rose petals and tar, with a palate loaded with tart cherries and spice.
