Domaine Chave Hermitage 2004

When it comes to the Northern Rhone, Jean Louis Chave reigns king. Despite a difficult vintage, Chave’s 2004 Hermitage still remains complex and textured, full of meaty, dark fruit flavors and spice. Longer barrel aging adds structure and backbone to this already powerful cuvée; exceptional now, but can certainly age longer.
