After his sudden death in 2016, Stéphane Moreau’s vision will be continued on by his assistant winemaker and wife, pioneering lifted, Dauvissat-style wines amongst the new generation of Chablis producers. Extensive sur-lie aging and healthy fruit, create vivacious, mineral-driven wines, full of saline-tinged harmony. The 2015 ‘Valmur’ is chalky and vibrant, with spicy minerality and citrus-driven palate; tightly wound with a persistent finish.
