Failla Pinot Noir 'Savoy Vineyard' Anderson Valley 2015

With former winemaking experience in the Rhone Valley and California’s Zinfandel country, Ehren Jordan used his expertise to start Failla, focusing on Pacific-influenced Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in Sonoma County. The 2015 ‘Savoy Vineyard’ comes from Anderson Valley, showing slightly spicier, more rustic flavors than that of the entry-level Pinot Noir. Structured and aromatic; will age beautifully.

Pinot Noir

Eloquent dynamic charmer of wine drinkers. Thin-skinned early-ripening seducer of wine growers. Planted everywhere but great in only a few (cool-climate) spots including its homeland of Burgundy.

Mendocino County, United States

California's northernmost county with a significant commercial wine production (thanks in large part to Fetzer), where willowy Pinot Noir and some of the state’s best sparkling wines are made.
