Ceritas Pinot Noir 'Hacienda Secoya Vyd' Anderson Valley 2015

Fruit for this lip-smacking cuvée from Ceritas comes from the cool-climate portion of the Anderson Valley; chilly ocean breezes keep acidity firm within the grapes, leading to well-balanced, lightweight wines. Vinified with 40% clusters, red fruit flavors and spice dominate, balanced by velvety tannins-- a California game-changer for sure.

Pinot Noir

Eloquent dynamic charmer of wine drinkers. Thin-skinned early-ripening seducer of wine growers. Planted everywhere but great in only a few (cool-climate) spots including its homeland of Burgundy.

Mendocino County, United States

California's northernmost county with a significant commercial wine production (thanks in large part to Fetzer), where willowy Pinot Noir and some of the state’s best sparkling wines are made.
