Chateau Bourgneuf Pomerol 2005

Fruit for Bourgneuf’s ‘05 Pomerol comes from the gravelly, sand soils of the appellation; comprised of 85% Merlot and 15% Cab Franc, the wine is juicy and fruit forward, with earthy, peppery undertones. Insanely aromatic, high-quality, and great aging potential.

Deliciously zaftig Bordeaux grape that shed its second-banana-to-Cabernet Sauvignon status to become a star in its own right. Early-ripening softly textured yet often very serious (see: POMEROL).
