Stein Mosel 'Rose Secco' 2016

When it comes to sparkling rosé, Germany is definitely one of the more underrated regions. Hailing from the Mosel, Stein’s Secco rosé is made predominantly of Pinot Noir, with small amounts of Cab Sauv and Merlot rounding out the blend. The resulting wine is both structured and balanced, with a fun, fruit-forward flavor profile. Pair with salads, greens, and all things fried.

Pinot Noir

Eloquent dynamic charmer of wine drinkers. Thin-skinned early-ripening seducer of wine growers. Planted everywhere but great in only a few (cool-climate) spots including its homeland of Burgundy.

Mosel-Saar-Ruwer, Germany

The twisty, turny Mosel River (and two of its tributaries), in southwest Germany, where Riesling clings to steep, stony slopes – the result being some of the most electrifying white wine in the world.
