Dominique Lafon Beaune 'Vignes Franches' 2015

Crafting wines under his own name, separate from the family estate, since 2008, Dominique Lafon produces some of the richest, most respected white wines in all of the Cote d’Or. 4.5 hectares are farmed organically and biodynamically, producing small quantities of highly sought-after wines. The 2015 ‘Vignes Franches’ comes from 1er cru vines, giving concentrated, well-balanced fruit. Refreshing & supple-- a great choice for White Burg lovers.

Eloquent dynamic charmer of wine drinkers. Thin-skinned early-ripening seducer of wine growers. Planted everywhere but great in only a few (cool-climate) spots including its homeland of Burgundy.

The most revered, fetishized wine region on earth and the spiritual home of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Reaching from Chablis down to Beaujolais, it sits on a limestone outcropping in central France.
