Legendary Provence duo Lulu Tempier and Lucien Peyraud’s estate is Bandol’s most recognized winery, producing powerful, Mourvedre dominant cuvées. ‘Cabassaou’ is comprised of 95% Mourvedre, rounded out with minimal Syrah and Cinsault, coming from vines with 50+ years of age. Juicy, concentrated fruit and structured tannins make this wine extremely memorable, especially now with a decade of age on it.
