Maison Clusel-Roch 'Galet' Coteaux du Lyonnais 2015

Varietal Gamay from the Coteaux du Lyonnais, ideally situated between the Rhone Valley and Beaujolais. Produced in the village of Millery, the wine is structured and lively, full of bright raspberry and cherry flavors. Fruit comes from 35 year old vines and is aged five months in stainless steel, preserving the grapes’ naturally fresh flavors. Pair with cured meats or fatty fish; only 2,000 bottles produced. Potentially your new go-to red!

Wine Type

The purplish grapey red of Beaujolais lately taken more seriously as a wine that punches above its weight. Perfectly fruity and yet in certain villages imbued with a stony mineral core.

Rhone Valley, France
