Arnot-Roberts Trousseau North Coast 2016

Though Trousseau may be synonymous with Jura, this California red sure gives the grape a run for its money. This blend of fruit from three vineyards was hand-harvested separately, undergoing a natural, whole-cluster fermentation. Light and bright, we couldn’t think of a more fun wine to be drinking year-round.

Another red-skinned native of France’s Jura this one a little darker and more sauvage than the featherweight Poulsard. Check out the woodsy reds of the Arbois appellation in particular.

California, United States

The sun in the American wine solar system, but at the same time a wine 'nation' in its own right, California is like the popular kid in high school that was good at everything and good-looking, too.
