Bérêche et Fils was founded in 1847, creating complex, terroir-driven Champagne for over 150 years. Now headed by the young and innovative duo, Raphaël and Vincent Bérêche, the family’s nine hectares of fruit are farmed chemical-free and biodynamically, with cork closures used for secondary fermentation. The 2009 ‘Le Cran’ is crafted from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Cran de Ludes; high acid and chalky, with a gorgeous, soil-driven minerality.
