Unlike the all too common fruit bombs of neighboring Napa, this refined, cooler climate Cabernet Sauvignon shows just how incredible Sonoma Cab can be. Fruit was partially destemmed and fermented with native yeast, followed by two years of aging in French oak. The wine shows a bright yet powerful palate of sappy cherry and cassis, dotted with notes of tobacco and smoke. Gritty tannins and low alcohol give way to an elegant, refreshing finish.
