What is Verve Wine?

Verve Wine is a new place to buy wine online. We curate delicious wines that are thoughtfully and carefully produced from around the world, and deliver them to your door. We will also have a flagship shop in NYC where we’ll host wine tastings, classes and events.

How does Verve Wine select the wines they carry?

We travel the world meeting passionate winemakers and make selections based on their great work. Each wine at Verve has been tasted by the two of us, and chosen because we think it’s worth getting to know.

I’m a winemaker and I’d like to see my wines with Verve Wine. Who can I contact about this?

Account Setup and Ordering

What are the benefits of signing up for a Verve Wine account?

Members can track their order history to remember wines they loved, build wish lists for future purchase, save payment info for faster checkout, and receive special offers and promotions that are not posted to the site.

What if I don’t like a wine that I purchased?

If you’re not happy with a wine for any reason, you can let us know and we’ll replace the bottle or give you a credit.

What if there is a problem with a wine I purchased?

We strongly believe that proper storage is crucial to maintain the quality of wine. That being said, we are happy to accept returns of unopened spirits up to 30 days after the date of sale. The original sales receipt is required.Email us at hello@vervewine.com and we’ll figure it out together.

Why can’t I redeem my promo code?

The promo code that you are attempting to use may be expired or invalid. Check to make sure it is being spelled correctly. If all fails, email hello@vervewine.com and we’ll figure it out together.

How can I cancel my order?

Email hello@vervewine.com and we’ll help you with the cancellation.

Where can I find the status of my order?

If you have a Verve Wine account you can track the order via your order history page.

If you do not have a Verve Wine account, email us at hello@vervewine.com and we’ll let you know where it’s at.

Shipping

When can I expect to receive my order?

Time in transit is dependent on your location with respect to NY. Shipments going to the West Coast can expect up to 5 business days of transit time after the order has left the warehouse and states closer to NY can expect shorter transit times. Shipments typically leave the warehouse each Monday or Tuesday of every week with the exception of holidays. You will receive a shipping notification along with tracking information as soon as the shipment leaves the warehouse.

Illinois & Texas

We work with compliant carriers to bring our customers quality, reliable delivery. Due to the intricacies of shipping to IL & TX and the requirement to work with local carriers, slightly longer delivery times can be expected. Shipments to these states will receive tracking information once the shipment has made it into your local area and is picked up by the local carrier.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs are calculated in the checkout process, and vary depending on the quantity of wines being shipped, the destination, and the type of shipping option chosen. If you have any questions about your shipping fee, email hello@vervewine.com and we’ll clarify.

Do you offer express shipping?

Email us at hello@vervewine.com and we’ll find the best option for you.

Can I ship the same order to multiple addresses?

We are only able to deliver to one address per order. If you would like to send your purchases to multiple addresses, please place a separate order for each destination.

What if I’m not going to be home to accept the delivery?

A person of 21 years of age must be present to accept delivery.

Can I ship to my work address?

Yes

How do I set up same-day delivery?

To place an order for same-day delivery, please call us at the shop at (212) 810-2899 or select same-day delivery at checkout. Orders may be delivered via UberRUSH between the hours of 2 to 5pm, contingent upon delivery distance and availability of its dispatchers. Due to UberRUSH policy changes, this option is only available to addresses within 3 miles of our brick-and-mortar shop (at 24 Hubert Street in Manhattan's TriBeCa neighborhood.)

We also offer free same-day delivery for web orders over $150 placed by 1:00pm. Free delivery within Tribeca is also available for orders over $50, with same-day drop-off guaranteed if placed by 1:00pm.

I missed my delivery. Now what?

You will receive a UPS InfoNotice with next steps on how to retrieve your order. They’ll make up to 3 delivery attempts and leave the package with a UPS access point location near your home.

Can I change my shipping date?

Email us at hello@vervewine.com. We can change your shipping details as long as it’s before your purchase has been prepared for dispatch.

Can I change my shipping address?

If you have an account, you can change your shipping address in your settings. If you’ve already placed the order, it’s best to email us at hello@vervewine.com and we’ll make sure that it gets to the right address.

Can you hold my order?

Yes! We are happy to hold or consolidate orders for up to 4 months at no extra cost. Indicate in your instructions at checkout or email us at hello@vervewine.com to coordinate your hold and future shipment.

Payment

How do I change my credit card info?

If you have an account, you can change your credit card info in your settings. If not, email us at hello@vervewine.com and we’ll make sure to edit your information.

How is sales tax calculated?

Sales tax is 8.875% and will be applied to purchases being delivered only within New York state.

Can I return an order that I received as a gift?

Yes

Can I receive a refund for a gift I purchased?

Yes, email us at hello@vervewine.com and we’ll sort the refund out.

How can I return my wine?

Verve Wine is happy to accept returns of unopened spirits up to 30 days after the date of sale. The original sales receipt is required.

How long does it take to process a refund?

Refunds will be processed within 24 hours of your request.
