After years of meticulously working the vines at Domaine Jamet, Aurelien Chatagnier founded his namesake estate in 2002, starting with one hectare of rented vines, gradually purchasing and replanting ten of his own. His Cornas is fermented with native yeasts in barrique, aged one year in a combination of new and used oak. The final wine is aromatic and dark-fruited, with notes of purple flowers, olive, and wet earth.
